The new member of the GMW-B5000 all-metal series adopts the design of the first G-SHOCK DW-5000, which debuted 40 years ago in April 1983. Made from recrystallized and deep-hardened stainless steel, this limited-edition watch has been created specifically for this launch. After recrystallization and deep hardening, the bezel and strap are treated with titanium carbide (TiC) coating, while the screw-down case back is coated with diamond-like carbon coating, creating an eye-catching and dazzling appearance. The dial is engraved with "SINCE 1983", a special tribute to the DW-5000. The 40th anniversary logo designed by Eric Haze is engraved on the back of the watch, and a star is engraved on the lower left button. This is a watch that highlights the 40th anniversary celebration of G-SHOCK.
